Mr. Steven Marshall
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, provides leadership in business strategy, sales and operations, mergers and acquisitions, capital acquisition and funding. Prior to Altiras, Mr. Marshall successfully founded, developed and led several entrepreneurial ventures including Chasm Industries, Market2Market and Talon Solutions.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Marshall developed and led several service businesses as a senior manager for General Electric in their healthcare business unit. Mr. Marshall earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and graduated from the General Electric Manufacturing Management Corporate Development Program.
Mr. Lloyd D. Ruth
Founder and Chairman, provides leadership for the Altiras board of directors. Mr. Ruth was co-founder and General Partner of Marquette Venture Partners from January 1987 until he retired where he evaluated investment opportunities within the retail, e-commerce, consumer services, and technology industries. Mr. Ruth has made over 30 investments in his more than 20 year venture career with a focus in telecom and consumer related investments.
Before co-founding Marquette, Mr. Ruth worked for Sprout Group, a venture capital affiliate of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jeanrette Inc. (now Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation), where he was responsible for managing the company’s west coast office. Mr. Ruth served as a Director of uReach Technologies, Inc., Payerpath.com, and Fogdog, Inc. Mr. Ruth earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, a Master’s in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Todd Pencarinha
Todd Pencarinha currently provides technical guidance in the development and management of projects for Altiras Pipeline Construction. Todd has extensive project management experience prior to joining Altiras. Mr. Pencarinha has managed many large scale projects, including the plant pipeline and utility integration for an 800 MW cogeneration project in Channelview TX, revamp and retrofit of major steam cracking furnace projects in South Africa, Baytown TX, and Baton Rouge LA, distillation column revamp and upgrade projects in Texas, along with dozens of plant projects for plant debottlenecks, pipelines, utilities, water treatment, storage tank, and various logistics projects.
Mr. Pencarinha has been in the chemical industry for 30 years including experience with large chemical producers such as Exxon, Equistar and Lyondell. Prior to Altiras, he successfully created and operated a chemical trading business focused on used, off-spec, and co-product chemicals. Mr. Pencarinha earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas
